Profile

Natalya received a MS in Civil Engineering from Krivoy Rog Mining Institute (Ukraine), a BA in EFL from Kiev Linguistic University (Ukraine), and an MS and PhD in Curriculum and Instruction and Human Computer Interaction from Iowa State University in 2012. Her dissertation was a three published papers dissertation on research-based design of interactive multimedia for solving instructional problems. During the 2012 -2013 she was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the College of Engineering, Iowa State University, Ames mainly working on the development a framework for the online portion of a hybrid engineering course. She managed the design and development team of undergraduate and graduate students focused on the development of blended learning solutions, building templates for rapid e-learning design and development, teaching instructional and multimedia instructional design and software applications to graduate and undergraduate students, rapid prototyping, pilot testing and formative assessments of the designed materials through surveying and tracking technology. In 2013 she joined Franklin University as a faculty, and since then she is an instructional design faculty and the lead faculty for the MTHD 824 Mixed Methods Research course.
